By 2025, virtual influencers have long been part of the social media world – and two of them are currently a topic of conversation in particular.

She has pink hair, a striking appearance and reaches several hundred thousand followers on Instagram: Aitana López, Spain's best-known AI influencer.
It was created by the agency The Clueless in Barcelona – completely digital, without a real person behind it.
According to reports, Aitana earns up to 10,000 euros a month through brand collaborations – with campaigns for fashion, fitness and lifestyle.
This is attractive for companies: no failures, no risk, full control over the image.
But not everyone is enthusiastic. Critics see it as a symbol of the increasing interchangeability in the influencer world and warn that such avatars could promote unrealistic beauty ideals.

While Aitana stands for fashion and lifestyle, Radhika Subramaniam is conquering the travel industry – at least virtually.
She is considered India's first AI travel influencer, speaks Tamil and English, and shares digital stories about culture, food, and places on social media.
It was created in 2025 by the agency Collective Artists Network. Radhika is intended to inspire young target groups for Indian tourism – without ever being there themselves.
The concept shows how strongly artificial intelligence is now also shaping cultural and linguistic areas. It is an example of how virtual personalities can not only advertise, but also digitize entire theme worlds.
