Well, that's what you call commitment with heart and soul – or rather with passion.
In Larnaca, a video is making headlines: Two police officers were filmed in the middle of the day in the patrol car. well, let's say, a "break of a special kind". 

The spicy video went viral on social media and shows the couple in an open square – no camouflage, no hiding place, just pure spontaneity in the blue light car.
The police have since confirmed the authenticity of the recordings and reacted promptly: Both officers were identified and suspended. One was on duty, the other was not officially.
Criminal and disciplinary investigations are now underway against them - including for breach of duty and immoral conduct in public.
Incidentally, the official vehicle was confiscated and taken to Nicosia – for a DNA analysis. No joke! 

The case has long been a hit on social media. Between ridicule and indignation, many write:
 "Finally police officers who really keep order – in their hearts!"
 Others simply call it "love on patrol". 

The police themselves are appalled and emphasize that such behavior sullies the work of thousands of honest colleagues. At the same time, the person who recorded and published the video is also being investigated for possible violations of data protection. 

The Data Protection Commissioner of Cyprus, Irini Loïzidou Nicolaidou, appealed to the public to be considerate of the families of those involved. After all, there are children who have to live with ridicule on the Internet.

Sure, police officers are only human – but please no passion between blue lights and radios!
Maybe next time it's better to do it privately – and without a patrol car.
