After the repair, those affected must complete the relevant form, available on the websites of the Ministry of the Interior and the provincial administrations, and submit it to the competent authority by Friday, March 14, 2025.
The required documentation includes personal data, photos of the water heater before and after repair, a description of the work performed by the plumber, payment invoices, a completed FIMAS authorization form and a copy of the owner's IBAN for possible financial assistance.
In addition, the homeowner must submit a declaration confirming the accuracy of the information provided in the application and a confirmation that there is no insurance coverage for the specific damage.
Citizens seeking further information are requested to consult the official websites of the Ministry and provincial administrations, where comprehensive instructions on the application process are available.
