MFRadio.de: The only German-language radio station for Cyprus continues to grow
MFRadio.de is the only German-language radio station in and for Cyprus and broadcasts online around the clock. The Weyermann family, their three children from Polis and dedicated friends have been running the station on a voluntary basis for more than two years. During this time, the program has been steadily expanded and the offering on the website has been continuously improved in order to offer listeners even more added value.
What once began as a hobby with a single radio channel has now developed into a network of 20 radio channels . MFRadio.de is particularly represented in Cyprus with six regional stations , including MFRadio Limassol, Paphos, Peyia, Polis and the main channel MFRadio Cyprus . But the listenership is also growing steadily in Germany. In addition to the main channel MFRadio.de Germany, the regional station Bayerwald is enjoying growing popularity - more than 2,000 listeners tune in every day.
A strong team behind the scenes
Many people have been actively involved in shaping the programme over the past two years. Some have since moved away from Cyprus or pursued new interests, but the current team remains strong and committed.
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the last few years. At the same time, we are happy that we have a stable, active team that keeps the project running every day with shows, contributions and full commitment," explains founder and operator Thomas Weyermann , who finances and organizes the radio with his company Mission Freedom Ltd.
Popular shows and creative minds
Some formats have become established as permanent fixtures in the program. Fabian Schäfer has been delighting listeners for two years with his popular “Fabis Gute Laune Show” , while Andrea and Ralf Wintz from Germany are winning more and more fans with their show “Soundtrack Saga” .
MFRadio.de also has a strong presence on YouTube . Daughter Matilda and son Johannes Weyermann, together with Stefan Roth , have set up the MFRadio Cyprus YouTube channel , which now has millions of likes and over 18,000 followers .

Behind the scenes, son Ferdinand Weyermann, together with his brother Johannes Weyermann and a team of IT specialists, ensure the smooth running of the technical infrastructure. Frank Graf from Kronenberg Group also supports the project financially.

Expansion and new advertising opportunities
What once began as a hobby has developed into a significant radio project. In view of the growing listenership and the great interest from the German-speaking community, the operators have now decided to further expand MFRadio.de and offer companies the opportunity to place targeted advertising on the various channels .
The numbers speak for themselves: the website has more than 50,000 visitors per month. Around 50% of listeners come from Cyprus, 25% from Germany and Austria, 15% from the United Kingdom and the rest from all over the world.
