During the night into Saturday, the west and southwest will have clearer skies, otherwise there will be heavy cloud cover and some local snow, particularly in the north and east. Mostly rain-free in the rest of the country. Slippery in some areas. Temperatures will cool to 0 to -7 degrees, and below -10 degrees over snow in some places.

On Saturday, partly cloudy, with longer sunny spells, especially in the southwest and south. Isolated snow showers in the north and east, otherwise mostly dry. Maximum temperatures between -2 degrees in the Ore Mountains and up to +5 degrees on the Lower Rhine, with light, persistent frost in some regions in the eastern half. Light winds from various directions, weak, sometimes moderate easterly winds in the south.
Partly cloudy, partly slightly cloudy or clear overnight into Sunday. Snow showers in the northeast and also from the Lower Rhine to the Odenwald in the second half of the night some isolated snow, otherwise mainly dry. Slippery in some areas. Lowest temperatures -1 to -8 degrees, locally severe freezing temperatures below -10 degrees, with the lowest temperatures in the east and south. Strong gusty northeast wind on the coasts.

On Sunday, sunny to cloudy, with light snowfall in places in the coastal area and from Rhineland-Palatinate to southeast Bavaria, otherwise mostly dry. Light persistent frost in the northeast half, -1 to +5 degrees in the southwest half with the highest temperatures on the Rhine and Moselle. Light to moderate, strong gusty easterly winds on the sea and at higher altitudes.
Cloudy to very cloudy in the extreme south overnight into Monday, but mostly dry. In the rest of the country, partly cloudy or clear and without precipitation. Temperatures will drop from west to east to -3 to -12 degrees, in places well below that over snow.
